Background
ATEC Construction Limited were engaged by a private client for the complete refurbishment of this attractive listed cottage. The existing structure was stripped back, repaired and refinished to high standard. A new detached oak clad double garage was erected and the surrounding gardens extensively remodelled including the erection of dry stone walling and the formation a new driveway.
Key Achievements
Close liaison with the Conservation Officer & Architect thoughout the project to ensure all works to the existing structure were in accordance with conservation guidelines.
Traditional skills utilised to repair the oak frame, replace the thatch and form the dry stone walls.
